Why Choose Us?

Environmental Protection Ceramic Granule Production Line Project is an investment project to produce sintered lightweight ceramic granules with construction residual mud as the main raw material, which is an important way to fundamentally solve the problem of resourcefulness of construction residual mud, turn the original useless waste into energy-saving and environmentally friendly high-quality products, and turn the enterprise’s environmental protection inputs (disposal fees, landfill costs, environmental protection fines and taxes, etc.) into environmental protection benefits, so that the construction residual mud can become a zero-emission green recycling Economy, is conducive to enhance the social responsibility of enterprises, creating an excellent social image of enterprises, effectively reducing the environmental costs of enterprises, with good economic and social benefits, in line with the direction of sustainable development of social, economic and urban construction.

Our Processes

Drying

- Green pellets are dried (100~200°C) to prevent cracking during sintering.
- Common drying equipment: rotary dryers, belt dryers.
Sintering (Key Step)
The pellets expand at high temperatures, forming a porous structure. The process includes three stages:
1. Preheating (400~600°C): Removes residual moisture and organic matter.
2. High-temperature sintering (1100~1300°C):
- The material softens, and internal gases (CO₂, H₂O) expand, creating closed pores.
- Oxides like Fe₂O₃ or CaO enhance expansion.
3. Cooling: Slow cooling prevents cracking.
Sintering Equipment:
- Rotary kiln: Most common, suitable for large-scale production.
- Sintering machine: Used for waste-based ceramsite (e.g., fly ash).
- Shaft kiln: Smaller scale, higher energy consumption.

Cooling and Screening

- Sintered ceramsite is cooled (natural or forced air cooling).
- Sieving removes fine particles, and products are graded by size (e.g., 5~10mm, 10~20mm).

Packaging

- Packaged in bulk or bags for construction, horticulture, or filtration applications.
Key Process Control Factors
-Expansion control: Adjusted by raw material composition (SiO₂/Al₂O₃ ratio) and sintering temperature.
-Environmental considerations: Emissions (e.g., dioxins from sludge) must be controlled.
-Energy efficiency: Waste heat recovery reduces energy consumption.
Applications
-Lightweight concrete: Reduces structural weight (density: 500~1800 kg/m³).
-Water treatment: High surface area for pollutant adsorption.
-Horticulture: Improves aeration and water retention in soilless cultivation.
